A worked way to think about it
A dated capture of a broken service-page link is stronger evidence than a generic “low SEO score.” Recheck the failed target first, then compare fixing that link with a larger content project.
Before acting on the result
- Name the artifact and the observed problem.
- Separate an intentional exclusion from a broken public page.
- Prefer a reversible, testable change.
- Define the verification step before doing the work.
Should the highest number always win?
No. Security, access and the current binding constraint may take precedence. Use the score to explain your reasoning, not replace it.
Method and primary guidance
This is an educational planning aid. Its logic is deterministic and bounded; it has no access to your website or Google account. Review the dated source evidence when making a real decision.
