FREE PRACTICAL TOOL / PRIVATE IN YOUR TAB
Find the directive. Confirm the intent.
A noindex directive may be deliberate. Start with a dated capture, identify what it says, and confirm whether the page belongs in search before proposing a change.

Indexing directive worksheet
Use your own evidence. Inputs stay in this tab. Nothing is submitted; you can choose to download a text brief.
Result
Enter your evidence and run the tool. No measurement is supplied by default.
A worked way to think about it
A private client report should stay excluded. A public service page carrying a leftover preview noindex needs investigation. The same directive produces different decisions because page purpose comes first.
Before acting on the result
- Record the exact URL, status and capture date.
- Read the real HTTP robots header separately from HTML.
- Check plugin, CDN and server rules before removing anything.
- Recheck the changed page and the indexing report after review.
Does a missing noindex mean the page is indexed?
No. Access, crawling, rendering, canonical selection and Google’s indexing decisions remain separate checks.
Method and primary guidance
This is an educational planning aid. Its logic is deterministic and bounded; it has no access to your website or Google account. Review the dated source evidence when making a real decision.
